This is a courtesy translation of our Turkish-language KVKK (Turkish Data Protection Law) cookie disclosure notice. The Turkish version is the legally authoritative text; in case of any discrepancy, the Turkish version prevails.
Under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("the Law"), Büyükgebiz Estetik Ağız ve Diş Sağ. Polikliniği Özel Sağlık Hizm. Med. Turz. Tic. Ltd. Şti. (hereinafter "BÜYÜKGEBİZ DENTAL") is the data controller with respect to your personal data, since it processes personal data relating to you. Under Article 10 of the Law ("Obligation to Inform"), data controllers must inform the individuals whose personal data they process about certain matters. This notice has been prepared by "BÜYÜKGEBİZ DENTAL" both to comply with the applicable legislation and to be transparent and accountable.
Definitions
Under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data:
- Obligation to inform: The obligation of the data controller, or the person it authorizes, to inform data subjects — when their personal data is obtained — of the data controller's identity, the purpose of processing, to whom and for what purpose the processed data may be transferred, the method and legal basis of collection, and the other rights listed in Article 11 of the Law.
- Data subject: The natural person whose personal data is processed.
- Personal data: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
- Processing of personal data: Any operation performed on personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, storage, preservation, alteration, reorganization, disclosure, transfer, acquisition, making available, classification or preventing the use of such data, provided it forms part of a data recording system when not fully automated.
- Data controller: The natural or legal person who determines the purposes and means of processing personal data and is responsible for establishing and managing the data recording system.
- Data subject (you): Because you are visiting our website at bgzdentalturkey.com, some of your personal data is processed through cookies and other identifiers, and you are therefore classified as a "data subject" under the Law.
- Data controller: With respect to your personal data, "BÜYÜKGEBİZ DENTAL" is the data controller that determines the purposes and means of processing and is responsible for establishing and managing the data recording system.

What Is a Cookie
Cookies refer to technologies such as advertising identifiers and web identifiers (all such technologies are referred to as "Cookies" or "cookies" throughout this notice). Cookies are very small text files, generally made up of letters and numbers, that are stored on your computer (or other devices such as a smartphone or tablet) by the websites you visit, through your browser. Cookies allow the recognition of a user and their device, and the storage of certain information about the user's preferences and past activity. Collection of Personal Data Through Cookies
When you first visit our website, you are shown a screen regarding your cookie preferences. The cookies you allow on this screen are then stored on your browser/device accordingly. Each cookie generally contains the following elements:
- The server that sent the cookie,
- The cookie's predetermined lifespan,
- A generally randomly generated unique identifier value/number.
Classification of Cookies by Purpose of Use
Cookies can be classified by their owner, lifespan, and purpose of use:
- By owner (first-party – third-party): Cookies placed on your device by the website you are visiting are first-party cookies; those provided by third parties are third-party cookies. Data Collected Through Cookies, Purposes of Use and Legal Grounds
Through cookies, the following data is collected and processed: the browser and operating system you use, your IP address, user ID, the date and time of your visit, access status, the use of features on the website, search terms you enter, how often you visit our website, your language preferences, and data relating to user transaction records, including actions you carry out on pages.

Personal data processed through functional cookies is processed for the purposes of remembering preferences and improving customer experience, on the basis of your explicit consent under Article 5/1 of the KVKK. Cookies originating from abroad are shared with foreign cookie providers on the basis of your explicit consent and the appropriate safeguards provided for under Article 9 of the KVKK.

Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Data
Under the Law, with respect to your personal data, you may exercise your right to:
- Learn whether your personal data has been processed,
- Request information about such processing, if your personal data has been processed,
- Learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose,
- Know the third parties, domestic or abroad, to whom your personal data has been transferred,
- Request the correction of your personal data if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly,
- Request the deletion or destruction of your personal data if the reasons requiring its processing no longer exist,
- Request that the actions taken under the two items above be notified to the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
- Object to the emergence of a result against you through the exclusively automated analysis of your processed data,
- Request compensation for damages if you are harmed due to the unlawful processing of your personal data.

Your request must include your first and last name and, if submitted in writing, your signature; your Turkish ID number if you are a Turkish citizen (or your nationality, passport number, or identification number if you are a foreign national); your residential or business address for notification purposes; your email, telephone and fax number for notification, if any; and the subject of your request. Any relevant information and documents regarding the subject should also be attached to your request.
